Nevis is looking for a Software Engineer to help fuel the growth and expansion of our
engineering team and who will be an essential part of the development of our Cloud offerings and bring
Nevis to new markets. If you are interested in cybersecurity and protection of customer identities, we are
looking forward to your application. Nevis is the market leader in Switzerland for securing customer
identities, protecting over 80 percent of all e-banking transactions. Nevis is the preferred strategic
partner for demanding security projects of customers in the area of banking, iGaming, insurance and government.
In your daily work, you will...
Leverage cutting edge technologies like Angular, Spring Boot, Docker to design and build new
Identity and Access Management products
Work on all layers of the software stack (web UI, business layer, database) using open source
components and open standards
Take end-to-end responsibility for your engineered results
Integrate new components and technologies into existing software systems and architectures
Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and engineers to deliver optimal solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Do on the job trainings
Work with CI/CD pipelines and participate in deployment processes.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
This is you
You will be successful in this position if you have...
Solid understanding of Angular and state management architectures, preferably with ngrx
Understanding of web application security basics
Strong Java and database development expertise
You are a “Clean Code evangelist” and have experience in developing applications with Spring Boot
Professional experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
A university degree (MSc/BSc) in Computer Science or a related field - or similar
Business professional verbal and written English language skills
