We are seeking a proactive and curious Security Support Engineering Intern to join our team. This is not a typical "scripted" tech support internship. Instead, we are looking for someone with an engineering mindset who wants to dive deep into our proprietary technology within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) arena.
As an intern, you won't be thrown into the deep end alone. You will receive comprehensive training through our specialized academy and work closely with senior engineers to learn how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and support enterprise-level software.
Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across the entire support and infrastructure lifecycle:
Learn the Support Lifecycle: Assist in managing and resolving technical tickets across L2 and L3 support, learning how to meet industry-standard SLAs.
Develop Detective Skills: Learn how to analyze integration logic, collect system logs, review configuration files, and recreate reproduction steps to troubleshoot issues.
Collaborate on Critical Incidents: Shadow senior engineers as they diagnose complex technical issues, and learn how to effectively escalate tickets to Product and Engineering teams.
Empower Our Community: Help partners and customers navigate our documentation and learning platform, helping them find the answers they need.
Contribute to Knowledge Sharing: Document your findings, workarounds, and step-by-step guides to help enrich our internal knowledge base.
Master Industry Tools: Gain proficiency in enterprise workflow tools, ensuring seamless communication and updates between Zendesk and Jira.
Cloud & System Maintenance: Learn to monitor system alerts within our Azure cloud environment and assist with routine maintenance, including software updates and backups in our test environments.
Note: While full-time team members participate in a 24/7 standby rotation, your involvement will be strictly focused on daytime learning and shadowing.
